Correct part but unreturnable

I ordered 2 of these piston kits for my faulty Koyker FEL. They are the correct size. However, a machine shop could not even remove the aluminum gland from the cylinder. So now I have 2 piston kits that I can’t return and a Koyker FEL with aftermarket bucket cylinders on it. So I’m just out the $125 for parts that were never installed. Not AgParts Direct fault, but the return policy is unacceptable.

Koyker Loader Cylinder Repair

I have an older, 2010 Montana, now LS tractor with a Koyker Loader. I have now rebuilt all four cyliners. First two by a hydraulic shop. Next one I rebuilt with seals purchased from local shop and had some difficulty inserting piston into cylinder. Last cylinder failed and ordered gland and piston with seals pre-installed and process went easier. Biggest problem is removing gland. Cost is probably justified by making job easier but next cylinder repair I will probably just buy seals and rebuild from scratch.

Thanks for the feedback!

Piston Kit

Well worth the additional cost versus just replacing the seals.
