The latest HiQual innovation! The Hydraulic Calf Chute also works as a tipping table to work calves. Hydraulic Squeeze and Headgate along with spring loaded drop-down fold-away bars to access calf when in tipping position.
Drop-down doors for access to calf when in regular stand-up chute position. Hydraulically operated scissor-style tailgate to prevent calf from entering when in alley.
- Scissor style tailgate is easy to operate and provides much better control than traditional guillotine gates.
- Neck extender hold tension with gas filled struts.
- Complete chute tilts with hydraulics to 78 degrees, allowing some gravity to be used for weight to be at the bottom of the chute.
- High-tensile, 58,000 psi tubular steel.
- Optional trailer kit available.

Can it be switched to use on both left and right side brands, or do you have to order it one way or the other? Also is there enough room to get a shoulder brand on a calf while in the head catch?

Does it come with an electric hydraulic pump?
Thank you for reaching out! This is a great question. Power units that include both the motor and pump will need to be purchased seperately. You have the choice between an electric power unit (part# SHQHYDPUE) or a gas power unit (part# SHQHYDPUG). The electric power unit consists of a 2HP single phase motor (part# H204182) and 2 stage hydraulic pump (part# H204199). The gas power unit consists of a Honda GX200 engine (part# H204193), pump adapter and the 2 stage hydraulic pump (part# H204199). If you have any further questions, we are happy to discuss!
