Add a hopper valve kit to existing or new bulk feed bins to provide a convenient location to fill buckets full of grain.
Kit Includes:
- (1) Shroud
- (1) Slide Handle
- (1) Handle Tube
- (1) Chute
- (2) Rail Plates
- (2) Header Plates
- (1) Lock Plate
- Hardware/Sealant
Product Number: S15380
IMPORTANT: Do not use grinding wheel as it will melt the galvanizing. Do not put arm in bin. collapsing material may cause serious injury. Hopper valve should be mounted no higher than midway up the hopper.
Hopper Valve Installation Assembly Guidlines
- Apply adhesive backed template at desired location for valve on hopper panel.
- Drill (20) 11 /32 diameter holes.
- Cut a 2 7 /8" x 5 3/8" access hole using the inside lines of the decal as a guide. Remove all burrs.
- Bolt lower header plate and both rail plates with 5/1 6" hex bolts.
- Install slide handle into rails and bolt upper header plate on.
- Install lock plate into the shroud as shown.
- Remove decal and place a bead of mastic caulking on outside of bolt holes. Place double thickness at top corners of shroud.
- Bolt shroud over the slide assembly using (6) 5/16" bin bolts.
- Use 3/8" x 3 1 /2" bolt to install handle tube on slide.
- Bolt chute to shroud using (4) 5/16" x 3/4" hex bolts.

How big of hole in bin to mount bucket filler . Will it cover existing 7x11inch hole.
Great question! Thank you for reaching out. The kit does come with an adhesive backed template. This will guide you during the installation. Per the installation guide, the diameter of the access hole cut during installation is 2 7 /8" x 5 3/8". Please let us know if you have any further questions by contacting us at 1-877-782-3073.

Hi there, We're in Surrey and adapting a feed hopper that did have an auger. We loose feed our pigs with Sow Rolls , so a large pellet. Will your hopper valve kit dispense them freely. Thanks Tim
Thank you for your inquiry. At this time, our Hopper Valve Kit is not compatible with the larger pellets. However, we do not offer a solution that is well-suited for that specific feed.

Can I purchase only 9foot diameter roof and two heights of wall and that's it?
